Useless Machine Featured in Spanish Museum and Television

Tatiana Viladomat from miBa, the Museum of Ideas and Inventions of Barcelona, Spain sent me a heads up that the Useless Machine is now being featured at the miBa.  I believe that it will be displayed in The Corner of the Absurd, and they will be selling kits in their gift shop.

Even better, Miba’s founder Pep Torres appeared on the Spanish late-nite television show Buenafuente, where he demonstrated the machine.  This is the second time that the machine has appeared on a nation television show, the first being the Colbert Report.

Useless Science Fair Entry

Ohhh, I get it now!

14 year-old Javier Rodriguez entered a Solarbotics Useless Machine at the Rio Learning Academy’s Science and Technology Exhibition at the Rio Vista Middle School in Oxnard.

No word on whether he won anything, but the picture of him explaining the machine to an observing teacher (Heather Parks) is priceless.

If it’s any consolation, Javier, you’re sure to get an A in comedy!
